Nur weil gerade alle wieder über Autos reden, möchte ich mal wieder auf einen Blog-Post von mir hinweisen, der inzwischen auch schon fast zwei Jahre alt ist.
Damals habe ich gezeigt, dass allein schon die Herstellung eines großen SUVs das Restbudget an CO2 aufbraucht, das jeder persönlich hat.
Die aktuellen Zahlen habe ich nicht. Müsste man noch mal neu ausrechnen. Es ist aber klar, dass wir in den letzten Jahr weiter CO2 ausgestoßen haben, so dass wir sehr nah an der Grenze sind. Die Produktion neuer Autos ist also keine Option. Also es ist schon eine. Leider. Aber es ist die falsche.

Statistics Netherlands (CBS) and the National Institute for Public Health and the Environment (RIVM)/Emissions Register report this on the basis of provisional quarterly figures on GHG emissions, in accordance with the IPCC guidelines.
